Our year six class have just returned from a three day residential trip to Kingswood activity centre in Ashford, Kent. It was an activity-packed experience which everyone survived despite the weather! They were busy from first thing in the morning until late in the evening, challenging themselves and taking on some difficult tasks. Year six abseiled, climbed walls, navigated obstacles wearing a blindfold, played laser tag, swam, built fires, tried to climb Jacob’s ladder, trampolined, zip-wired and took on a 3G swing! It was wonderful and exhausting. One evening round the campfire (in the rain) they were champion singers and they kept up their strength with lots of hearty meals and a few midnight feasts. Everyone agreed that it was a fantastic adventure.
