Welcome to Jill Murphy Class
Our teacher this year is Mr Till and our teaching assistants are Mrs Rana and Miss Graves.
Our topic for Term 5 is ‘The Royal Family’. In our geography lessons we will be exploring castles and palaces around the UK and royal families around the world. In our history lessons we will be exploring monarchs from the past – specifically the reign of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II; as well as looking at the history of our castles and palaces. In our computing lessons we will be learning how to search the internet safely for information on Queen Elizabeth II. In our art lessons we will be making our own jubilee clay pots. In our DT lessons we will be making our own moving jubilee carriages.
On Friday 13th May we have an online workshop booked with the Royal Collection Trust who will be bringing a Buckingham Palace experience to us.
On Thursday 19th May we will be having our reading café where parents are welcome to join us for our end of day story.
On Thursday 26th May (final day of term) we look forward to welcoming parents to join us for our jubilee celebration street party!
