Rosherville’s Reception Class
Pupils are admitted to Rosherville in the September of the academic year in which they turn 5. Starting school is a very exciting and daunting time for you and your child. We as a school work with parents individually in the summer term before the children start to ensure it is a positive experience and that parents and children feel well prepared for their start in September.
Our reception class teacher Ms McCormick and teaching assistant Miss Horrobin will:
Hold a welcome meeting for new parents
Visit the children in their nursery setting
Visit the children in their home setting
Hold a stay and play session for the children to become familiar with their surroundings
