Rosherville Church of England Primary Academy has a published admission number (PAN) of 20 children per year. To gain a place in Reception for the start of a new school year (September) you should apply through the Kent local authority process (see link below). For September 2020 applications must be made between 5th November 2019 and 15th January 2020. To apply for a place at any other time (for all year groups) then please contact the school to discuss your needs. Applications are made using the application form which is available from the office or our website.
Kent County Council is responsible for school admissions across the county. Should a school be over-subscribed, places will be allocated according to the KCC published over-subscription criteria. This is:
- Children in Local Authority Care or Previously in Local Authority Care
- Current family association
- Health and Special Access Reasons
- Nearness of children’s homes to school

If your child is due to start primary school in September 2021 you can appeal between 19th April -17 May 2021 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 23 July 2021. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
